Our client is seeking a candidate to be based in the ACT, who has a high level of experience working within a Combined Air Operations Centre (CAOC). This role would suit candidates who have held the rank of RAAF EO8 to O5 who has worked alongside coalition partners in preparing and coordinating air operations and most importantly, Joint Targeting. Candidates will have experience in rapid reaction and control.

The role

• Deconflict CAOC planning
• Assist developing air strategy
• Facilitate coalition integration
• Direct air traffic
• Joint Targeting
• Monitor execution of air operations
• Integrate ISR information
• Coordinate CAS
• Must hold AGSVA issued clearance

Candidates will have a good communication style, high level of knowledge and experience in deconfliction of weapon systems and Joint Targetting, but most importantly execute day-to-day combined air and space operations. Candidates will understand and have a traceable history in a CAOC. Candidates will understand reporting functions and requirements to Allied Air Command in NATO.

This is not a simple role. This role is for someone who has experienced a CAOC and its fundamental responsibilities.
