Kinexus are searching for a Hardware Engineer with skills in FPGA chip design and engineering to complete a key piece of work for a large defence business with a global customer base. The work involves creating variants of existing FPGA products for a defence customer using Altium.

This contract role will commence in mid-June 2025 and will run until the end of the year, with potential extension options. The work will be done full time out of the Sydney office, with some flexibility. The rate on offer is flexible dependant on the level of experience you bring forward.

What is required of you:

• It is essential that you have significant previous experience programming FPGAs, ideally in a defence environment.
• Proficiency in Altium is a must.
• Experience in schematic design and capture, whilst also being able to work from existing designs.
