As their team continues to grow, they are expanding simulation support services for the ADF's Core Simulation Capability to make training environments as realistic and accessible as possible.

These opportunities are prefect for ex-ADF personnel (Army, Air Force or Navy) who are looking to utilise their skill in the wider Defence industry within the C4 domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of simulation-based training, including integration of Command-and-Control systems and simulation applications into the core environment.
• Collaborate with the team to develop, test, and deploy new software releases, while also modifying existing COTS and GOTS software as required.
• Assist in the configuration, management, and sustainment of simulation systems across various training scenarios.
• Be the Technical Control (TECHON) or Simulation Control (SIMCON) teams to support live training exercises.

Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of Defence training, systems integration, exercise planning, and military communications, particularly involving C2 systems.
• Experience with Defence simulation tools such as JCATS, JSAF, ACE-IOS, and configuring simulation architectures in virtualised environments.
• Knowledge of key simulation standards including DIS, HLA, and TENA.
• Candidates should have experience working within a coalition environment
• Energetic 'can do' approach to technical problems and a desire to excel in your field
• Applicants MUST be eligible for ADF Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship)

• Attained the Rank of RAN Leading Seaman, Petty Officer or Chief Petty Officer, RAAF Corporal, Sergent or Flight Sergeant
• Either Tertiary, Diploma or Cert IV qualifications in any Field
• Broad experience in Defence training and evaluation
• Have experience in a defence training institution as an Instructor (Must)
