Kinexus has been called to partner with a huge federal government agency in their efforts to enhance and uplift their enterprise data and analytics branch. This program focuses on streamlining, automating, and enhancing the use of data through advanced analytics, cloud technologies, and scalable solutions.

As a Software Developer on this project, you will be developing new and upgrading existing features by developing microservices and APIs on cloud-native services, using Node.js, Typescript and modern frameworks such as Mocha or Chai whilst practicing test-driven development and writing clean code.

This role can be worked from any approved federal government office from Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Also, you must hold an active or reinstatable NV1 security clearance or above to be able to apply for this position.

Required experience and skills:

• 2+ years experience developing APIs and microservices with Node.js and Typescript.
• Previous experience developing solutions using AWS Lambda.
• Able to consistently produce clean code and work withina test-driven development environment.
• You must hold an active or reinstatable NV1 security clearance.

What's on offer:

• A daily rate of between $850 to $950 including superannuation, dependent on your skills and experience.
• An initial contract length of 12 months, plus a high likelihood of extension for a further year.
