As a partner with some of the largest Defence projects in Australia, we have a role available for a Senior Systems Engineer to be based in the ACT. They design, and manufacture commercial and defence electronics solutions for customers worldwide. This is a key leadership position working with an agile team supporting a critical defence program.
The Role:
- Elicit / refine / document requirements
- Act as the SME in Systems Engineering
- Employ ADSDEFCON Systems Engineering Principals
- Will be required to lead a team of different engineering disciplines
- Enforce design, system and specifications as required
- Plan, document and execute Verification and Validation activities
- Identify project and product risks and escalate using defined processes
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Mentor
Experience Required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Systems Engineering
- A traceable history in full-spectrum engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in complex engineering programs
- An understanding of electronics based Systems (RADAR)
- Lead and develop documentation
- A track record in executing key systems engineering artifacts
- A high level of technical expertise and the application of that knowledge
- Strong verbal Communication and writing skills
- Engineering degree in electrical or electronics preferred
- Must have a current NV1 (Secret) Security Clearance
