Kinexus, Australia's leading defence recruitment specialist, is seeking experienced Security Analysts to support a key Army project. This is a long-term defence contract focused on securing and integrating mission-critical networks.
- Role: Security Analyst (Level 2)
- Location: ACT with up to 2 days WFH
- Duration: April 2025 - June 2026 (with possible extensions up to five years)
- Rate: $800p/d to $1000p/d dependant on relevance of your experience
- Clearance: Minimum NV1 (potential upgrade to NV2)
- Employment type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-certification activities, including developing technical and system-level security documentation
- Provide security advice to projects and stakeholders to ensure compliance with government and defence security requirements
- Assess system changes and maintain security governance frameworks
- Engage with Army HQ, CASG and CIOG to develop project-specific security accreditation documentation
- Participate in security certification and accreditation of various Army mission systems
- Attend workshops and provide ICT security advice for accreditation discussions
- You will be supporting the accreditation of numerous Army projects.
Essential skills and experience:
- Understanding of Australian government security accreditation processes
- Familiarity with defence security policies including ISM, PSPF and DSPF
- Knowledge of ICT security architecture and ITIL frameworks
- Industry certifications such as IRAP, CISSP or CISM highly regarded
