About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Analyst to support a Defence program in Melbourne.

These roles require strong collaboration, compliance, procurement, and analystical skills to ensure successful delivery within a tight timeframe.



Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse supply chain and procurement data to support business operations and decision-making.

  • Use data-driven insights to troubleshoot operational issues and develop actionable solutions.

  • Support inventory management by analysing historical data and assisting in the development of procurement schedules.

  • Conduct procurement-related analytics to support supplier sourcing, evaluation, down selection, negotiation, and contract management.

  • Prepare and manage cost-benefit analysis reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Provide comprehensive and clear data insights to drive efficiency and cost savings.



Skills & Experience Required

βœ… Baseline Security Clearance
βœ… Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
βœ… At least 5 years' experience in a business or supply chain analytical role
βœ… Strong organisational and communication skills
βœ… Exceptional attention to detail
βœ… Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
βœ… Familiarity with supply chain processes



Desirable Qualifications & Experience


⭐ Power BI experience (advantageous)
⭐ SAP experience (highly regarded)
