ABOUT THIS ROLE
Our large federal government client requires a requires a Project Manager to assist with the achievement of project strategic outcomes.

The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.

Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement and manage project activities being undertaken through three separate tranches of work, delivering capabilities required for achievement of the Project strategic outcomes.
• Responsible for the timely creation and maintenance of project planning and reporting documentation as required by the Project Lead to meet Program reporting requirements.
• Undertake project risk management activities to identify, analyse, evaluate, treat and review risks and issues.
• Achieve project deliverables in accordance with the approved project scope and schedule.
• Develop plans and processes to facilitate integration and transition to operation activities of project capability deliverables, within identified business processes.
• Work collaboratively and constructively as part of an Agile delivery team to ensure the timely delivery of quality ICT capabilities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for the secure operation, sustainment and handling of deployable communications technologies, high grade cryptographic equipment, and the underlying communications pathways.
• Demonstrated understanding of and recent experience undertaking complex ICT Project Management at SFIA LOR5, and Change Implementation Planning and Management at CIPM5.
• Strong leadership experience and skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Australian Citizenship and a TSPV security clearance is essential.
