Our client have a position available for a Systems Engineer (Level 2/3) to be based in Newcastle, NSW. This is a key position within the team supporting a major project(s) delivering real capability to the warfighter. That technology is instrumental in the protection of defence assets. The role is critical in supporting the end users ability to meet current and future needs.
The Role:
- Elicit / refine / document requirements
- Must be a self starter
- Enforce design, system and specifications as required
- Plan, document and execute Verification and Validation activities
- Liaise with stakeholders internal and extenal
- Identify project and product risks and escalate using defined processes
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channel
Experience Required:
- A degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- Either RADAR/C4/ISR/C2 systems
- A track record in ASDEFCON
- Traceable history in Systems Engineering
- Design Interface experience
- A high level of technical expertise and the application of that knowledge
- Strong Communications skills
- Must have a current Secret Security Clearance
