As we have entered 2025, Defence requirements are certainly not slowing down, they have a continuing need for highly security cleared individuals to work across projects in the Defence and Intelligence space.

Our large Federal Government client is looking for Software Developers/engineers from all levels of experience to deliver innovative capabilities by developing and integrating software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment.

Due to the nature of clients we work with here at Kinexus and the projects these roles will be based on, an Australian Government Negative Vetting 2 or Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance is essential. This opportunity does not have the ability to obtain sponsorship for a security clearance (including applicants who currently hold a security clearance seeking to upgrade).

This is an initial 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options.

These roles are based in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

Onsite 5 days a week.

These roles require an OSA before commencement with an estimated start date of mid 2025

We are looking for junior, mid, and, senior software engineers with the backgrounds in:

• Python
• Java
• Java Messaging Service
• Javascript/Typescript
• J2EE
• RESTful web services
• Django and Ruby
• Kubernetes
• OpenShift
• Experience in or knowledge of Puppet, Ansible and Docker automation tools.
