We are hiring a Senior Penetration Tester to work hands-on and provide leadership to a cybersecurity team within a federal government agency. You will be working in a hybrid Azure cloud environment, with a mix of Linux and Windows on-prem systems, managing, executing and providing reports on penetration tests for medium to large software apps, IT systems and networks.

This is a contract position lasting an initial 12 months with up to 2x 12 month extensions, working on-site in Canberra. You must have a minimum of Baseline or NV1 security clearance, therefore requring Australian citizenship. We are happy to discuss your expectations for daily/hourly rates for this contract, as the client has asked us to research market rates.

Key requirements:

• Experience as a Senior Penetration Tester providing leadership to a red team, managing the end to end pen testing process.
• Experience working in a Windows and Linux environment, ideally also with Azure cloud environment experience but not essential.
• Proficient in identifying and exploting web app and network security vulnerabilities.
• Previous experience in Federal Government will be preferred, particularly for process and reporting purposes.
