Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced RF Engineer with a strong background in Electronics/Electrical engineering and PCB design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the hands-on design, development and prototyping of new RF systems and subsystems to support critical Defence projects.

Our client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of high-end electronics systems used for critical AIR, LAND and SEA domains across Defence in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Design, test and evaluate RF & microwave technology, including but not limited to, circuits and electronic subsystems
- RF modelling and simulations using software packages
- Provide subject matter expert advice and guidance to a small team of RF engineers
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Participate in R&D meetings to evaluate new technical opportunities
- Ability to deal with customers and present design details during review e.g. customer design reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronics design and development.
- Must have - PCB experience
- Ability to lead a small design team and provide leadership in the RF engineering discipline
- RF modelling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio, Microwave Office and Matlab
- Exposure and experience working in a Defence environment.
- Eligibility for or holds ADF Security Clearance to NV1 (Australian Citizenship required)
