Our client is seeking an RF Design Engineer with experience in modern digital communications systems including one or more of the following: Combat Net Radios, HF/VHF or UHF Radios, Tactical Data Radios, Terrestrial and Aerial Range Extension Equipment, Radio Relays, Broadband systems, SATCOM systems. Candidates must have a track record in design & development and test & evaluation in complex RF design engineering.
The Role:
- Design test and evaluate RF technology
- Enforce design, system and specifications as required
- Perform design simulation, debugging and analysis of RF component
- Manage component selection, schematic design, PCB layout
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Provide subject matter expert advice on tactical data distribution systems
Experience Required:
- Engineering Degree in Electronics, or Electrical
- Experience in design & development and test & evaluation
- Experience in Defence Radio engineering
- A track record in design and testing PCBs for RF, analogue and digital
- Experience working within a full product development lifecycle is advantageous
- Experience in defence digital systems
- Must hold a current NV1 security clearance to be successful
