Based in Brisbane, our client is a leader in its field and has a long-term contract to support a major Defence strategic program. They are looking to employ an experienced quality assurance specialist to support the quality manager at their Melbourne facility. Our client is an 'enabler' for the warfighter and needs a Quality Specialist to help deliver that capability directly to the end user.
The role:
- Maintain and Monitor Compliance
- Identify and Report for remediation
- Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
- Assist and review & complete work packages
- Provide QA support on software and hardware issues
- Attend Supply Chain meetings
- Perform Quality audits, monitor testing
- Assist and train DSIMS
- Draft Quality Alerts
- Liaison with multiple internal and external agencies
Experience required:
- Engineering Degree or equivalent technical experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong experience with QA processes and systems
- Military/Defence Industry experience
- Good Auditing experience
- Must have SAP experience
- Experience with ERP/MRP tools
- A track record in data/information capture
