The key focus of the Project Manager is customer/Stakeholder liaison and relationship development with a focus on delivery. Candidates with excellent leadership and management of a highly motivated and dynamic team of experienced technicians and logisticians should apply. The Project Manager will join the Management Team, providing strategic leadership and advice on all capability issues.
The Project Manager will also be instrumental in providing guidance in developing plans, processes and policy. Preferably, candidates will have a firm understanding of delivery working within ADEFCON contracts. Candidates will have a good understanding of the engineering lifecycle with a focus on delivery. The ideal candidate will be joining a business in an expanding business with a focus on delivery.
Experience Required:
- The Project Manager will have experience in defence delivery or sustainment projects
- Candidates will have tertiary qualifications
- Broad engineering experience base, preferably within Defence Industry
- Experienced in working in a Prime or SME
- Ideally, candidates will understand defence logistics and supply chain
- Experience in a PMO environment
- Lead, mentor and develop a strong team
- Promote continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership and management
- Traceable Business/budgetary experience (P&L)
- Applicant MUST hold a current NV1 AGSVA issued clearance as a minimum
This position would ideally suit applicants with a Defence engineering background with extensive experience in demanding leadership and management appointments. Candidates with CASG and or wider defence industry should apply.
