Our client is seeking a pre-sales engineer to work at a multinational business supporting APAC based in Sydney. The role will work alongside and collaborate with account managers and business development to identify opportunities and support customer problems and help solve and deliver solutions. Candidates will be experienced and have knowledge in pre-sales support on products and services including Aerospace, ISR and C4I systems and capabilities.
This role will work closely with business development and project team members to ensure customers, and the demonstrations given, align with market trends meeting all engineering safety and systems compliance. The main focus is to influence, support and understand customers' requirements, with the view to offer current technologies to propose solutions.
The role:
- High level of experience in for mentioned technologies
- Technical sales experience in service and support to clients
- High level of communication skills both written and oral
- Portfolio development and management
- Prepare and manage technical documentation
- Support the technical proposals and costings
- Forecast future Federal and or Defence acquisition plans
- Manage and support end users and technical maintenance expectations
- A track record in sales developing and defining technical requirements
Experience:
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering
- Problem solver with a flair in communications skills.
- Proven experience in client support and management
- A track record in aerospace, ISR or C4I technology
- A traceable history in sales
- Have an established network would be advantageous
- Must be an Australian citizen with an AGSVA issued clearance
