Performance Engineer/ Architect Federal Government Department
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer / Architect to drive critical performance optimisation for our complex government systems infrastructure.
IBM Mainframe systems collaborating with a wide range of other systems. New and old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level performance analysis and architectural design
- Optimise mainframe application performance across diverse government system environments
- Collaborate closely with the department's Performance Testing Team to enhance system efficiency
- Conduct proactive performance modeling and capacity planning
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before formal testing phases
- Integrate on-premise and cloud-based system architectures seamlessly
Required Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of performance engineering principles
- Deep understanding of mainframe application architectures
- Proven ability to analyse and optimise complex system infrastructures
- Experience working with diverse government technology ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborative capabilities across technical teams
