Simulation Technician

We are looking for an individual with a background in the development, modification, and integration of simulation systems.

In this position, you will:

• Set up and integrate multiple simulation software and hardware components, ensuring they work together as part of a larger training environment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation software and hardware systems, which may include networking components, visualization systems, and simulation interfaces.
• Integrate data feeds and applications to enable accurate simulation of command and control (C2) elements such as situational awareness, communication, and response protocols.

Training Instructor

We are looking for an individual who can support in the design, configuration, and management of simulated training scenarios.

In this position, you will:

• Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of simulation applications.
• Create detailed training scenarios that replicate real-life situations, tailoring them to the training objectives and requirements of the trainees.
• Prepare and configure simulation equipment, software, and systems to ensure the environment is ready for training exercises.

C4I Specialist

This individual will play a pivotal role in planning, configuring, and operating C4I applications and systems that support ADF training scenarios and is the bridge between technical and operational activity.

In this position, you will:

• Work on the setup and planning of C4I systems in simulation systems to meet specific training or operational objectives.
• Configure C4I software and hardware to simulate realistic battlefield or operational environments.
• Act as the on-ground technical expert during training events, ensuring that all C4I systems operate correctly, and that simulated data is accurate and timely.

Geospatial Developer

This individual will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and integrating terrain and geospatial data for use in simulation, training, and operational system for the ADF.

In this position, you will:

• Source, collect, and process various types of geospatial data, including imagery, elevation models, maps, and environmental data.
• Create realistic 3D terrain models that accurately represent physical landscapes, including terrain features, vegetation, and man-made structures.
• Test and validate terrain models and geospatial data to ensure they meet quality standards and training objectives.

• ADF Security Clearance NV1/NV2 (Australian Citizenship is essential).
• Experience working within Defence Environments.
• Experience designing, implementing and integrating applications, or subsystems.
• Experience with common simulation standards (DIS, HLA, TENA).
• Operational military experience and knowledge of the ADF C4I environment.
• Exposure to Defence simulation environments and protocols and/or a background as a military geospatial specialist.
