We are looking for a team of people with skills and experience working in Mainframe environment with all requiring an Australian Baseline Security Clearance. These roles can be worked from most major cities within Australia (Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane), working from the nearest office of this Federal Government department. All roles have the option of a permanent or contracting engagement, depending on your preference.

This is a long term opportunity for contractors, with the project set to last for up to 5 years, with contractors set to work on an initial contract period of 2 years followed by up to 3x 12 month extensions.

All roles require an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.

• IT program leadership across the end-to-end development lifecycle
• Agile delivery methodology and best practice
• IT program governance and operation
• Testbest practices and DevOps
• Development of APS staff across the program

Each of these roles will require an understanding of Mainframe technology and environment, with it being essential that Developers have experience in COBOL programming language.

It is anticipated that the project will start in February 2025, with each role offering the choice of a contracting or permanent engagement.
