Low-Code Software Engineers (Junior to Senior Roles)

Our company is looking for talented Low-Code Software Engineers to join our defence client's team. Whether you are just starting your career or are a seasoned professional, there are multiple positions available, ranging from junior to senior levels. This opportunity allows you to contribute to innovative projects that streamline and automate complex workflows using low-code platforms, particularly Appian.

As a Low-Code Engineer, you will work closely with clients and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement custom applications that address real-world business challenges, all while leveraging the power of low-code technologies. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge automation and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement low-code applications using Appian.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored software solutions.
  • Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during application development and post-deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in low-code development and implement best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers (for senior roles).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Basic understanding of low-code platforms, with a focus on Appian or similar products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages is an advantage.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, with a security clearance
  • Willingness and ability to upgrade and maintain high levels of security clearance.
  • Experience with Appian or other low-code platforms.
