The Hardware Engineer will join a team of highly professional engineers and technicians delivering extremely technical systems to their clients.
The Successful Candidate will work as an integral member of the engineering team, participating in the development of hardware technical solutions for the related systems on challenging engineering projects.
The role:
- Designing, testing and manufacturing
- Developing and conducting tests
- Generate design(s)
- Investigate, track and understand power consumption
- Help create software to support the system(s)
- Manage work schedules
- Assist in costing new systems end-to-end
- Engineering design and development in accordance with system requirements
- Resolution of technical queries and system trouble reports
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers
Experience required:
- Hold a degree in Electrical or electronics engineering
- Hold RPEQ or have the ability to gain membership
- Excellent hardware experience
- Traceable design history
- Strong track record in design
- Demonstrated experience in hardware architecture design, development, integration, or test
- Applicants MUST be an Australian Citizen and able to gain an AGSVA security clearance
The ideal candidate will have experience in Communications Engineering and have good interpersonal skills to match.
