Our client is looking for a highly-skilled and detail orientated Financial Officer to join their dynamic team!
This role would suit someone with a strong Finanical Analyst/Accountant background, specifically experience within the Defence sector.
This is a permanant opprtunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute an in depth financial strategy.
- Provide accurate and actionable insights through data-driven decision-making.
- Financial governance and compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and key performance metrics
- Oversee cash flow management, foreign exchange, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Mitigate financial risks through effective analysis and forward-planning.
- Lead the integration of cutting-edge financial systems and technologies
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central - essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, with CPA/CA qualifications, or progress towards
- Strong financial accumen
- Excellent knowledge of Payroll processes
- Ability to manage your time effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.
- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude with plenty of enthusiasm and motivation.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and developed organisational and work practice skills including the ability to prioritise workload
Other Information:
- Australian Citizenship and Defence security clearance essential.
- Felxible work conditions icluding WFH negotiable.
