With their head office situated in Canberra, ASD employs over 2,000 TSPV cleared workers, and their workforce is growing nationally. Areas of growth include PMO, cyber security, systems administration and engineering, software development and network engineering.

Kinexus has been supplying TSPV-cleared personnel to the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD). since 2001.  As ASD embarks on the next phase of its journey, our role is supporting that growth by providing personnel across a range of skills.

What is Project REDSPICE

REDSPICE (Resilience, Effects, Defence, Space, Intelligence, Cyber and Enablers) is a groundbreaking initiative by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) that aims to address future challenges and potential threats. It is the largest investment in the history of ASD, with $9.9 billion allocated over a 10-year period until 2031. Through REDSPICE, ASD will deliver forward-looking capabilities essential to maintaining Australia's strategic advantage and capability edge over the coming decade and beyond.

 

REDSPICE involves expanding operations beyond Canberra and collaborating with the Five Eyes intelligence alliance partners to share intelligence and adopt a global perspective. The program entails an increase in cyber-hunt activities and a threefold expansion of the current offensive cyber capability. To achieve its objectives, REDSPICE leverages cutting-edge technologies such as advanced artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and cloud technology.
