How would you summarize what you do at Kinexus in one paragraph?
I am the TL and BDM for the Aerospace and Land team
What do you like best about working at Kinexus?
I like the ability to continue to be relevant in an industry I have spent 30 years working in.
What do you see as the next big game changer within the industry?
Autonomous Systems in Aerospace and Land, the interoperability of all 3 x services.
You’re ex forces, what was your trade and what were you responsible for?
I was a Warrant Officer with an ECN 357. I was in the ‘Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery’. I was responsible in the management of the day to day training of soldiers and junior officers in technical gunnery and instructing in the training of Joint Fires Teams and individual support to Joint Fires Specialists. I was responsible for the live firing safety on the gun line. I acted as the independent check for all aspects of in-direct and direct firing practices.
I also was tasked with assisting in the employment of offensive support assets in a given area of responsibility, as well as the targeting and development of priority target lists for Brigade and Battalion Level Combat teams. My role also required me to liaise with and provide training support to our partners within the South East Asian region as well as further afield.

What’s your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you?
22 years in the ADF. The people I have worked with in that time has given me the opportunity to develop not only as a person but as a leader.
